Isn't fashion supposed to be fun, creative, and personal? for example I would wear a red top but I'm not crazy about red pants I think the all overall color looks better in a dress but that's just my take on it someone else's maybe totally opposite which is great we all should not be alike if we want to recreate a look that is cool too! but I don't think we should feel like we have to! I would wear a red top with the right color of blue sweater and jeans 😀 someone else may like dressing up to the 9's but I absolutely do not think anyone should be judged on being themselves like a bad episode of 'what not to wear' and then they all end up looking like clones there rant over ✌

I really feel that,,,,and I'm going to be blunt here, some people do not get the idea of "Runway Inspiration" ladies it is meant to broaden your horizons to INFORM and INSPIRE you on certain looks that will look absolutely stunning on all age levels be it 20's 30's or 40's and beyond! To learn about colors and fabrics,,,, what best suits your body types. It can be as simple as a pair of stunning and unique earrings or a bootie in a rich shade of Velvet Navy Blue, heck going out of your comfort zones and trying new things. Its simple Fashion isn't everyones cup of tea and for some of us it is everything, that being said Thank You Erin for always inspiring us and keeping us up to date, Love Ya xoxo

I love velvet! I am going to a wedding in February and will consider a velvet gown. I wish I still had my burgundy prom dress from 1994. I was stunning!
Plaid… Yes please! Red and brown as long as I find the right tones. I am sure I can find floral and embroidery at my local thrift store. Thank you for this video.

Even though it's still hotter than Haitis here in FL, I was wondering what's in this season so thanks as usual for pulling it together for us. As a 59 year old lady, I get that you just mean what's versatile and relevant for more mature ladies. I absolutely will rock the head to toe red. ( It's actually my favorite color 🙂 ) As always , I love your videos. Take care and thanks for sharing.

Erin, love your videos and your style ! I have question for you, What do you think about wearing velvet(ex. velvet pants/skirt) to work? Is that okay, or is velvet more for evening wear??

aw, you are so pretty, Erin! Your hair looks lovely. I remember wearing so many different shades of browns back in the 70's and and found that a cooler brown was good for me. I've always loved that color, so maybe I'll be able to find it again. I really liked this a lot. Love, Melissa

Erin, I really appreciate all of the knowledge you share. I am a 6' 41 yr old that has ALWAYS loved fashion. I TOTALLY understand why you tread lightly with the "on trend" approach. I was lanky up until my 30's and have now adapted to a healthier way of life in my 40's (taking me back to what I could "pull off" or felt comfortable ROCKIN in my younger years) that now allows me to be a little more risky. There are definite ebbs and flows in everyone's life and you GREATLY help me to be able to plan accordingly. Your delicate touch to the subject matter is a breath of fresh air!! Long time follower, rarely ever comment but want you to know your approach is graceful. Thank you!!

Great idea on what's on trend by matching to the designers. That helps focus on an origin of the style and aids in the estimation of longevity. What I mean is some designers work is classic and others more trendy. That last red look of a velvet skirt got a verbal WOW out of me. And that long textured tweed grey coat with the buffalo plaid lining was styled so perfectly. Wish I had the eye to orchestrate such a look. Grey, red plaid and winter white…yes please. Thanks for the work Erin! ~Epic photo of you and the red separate set and THAT vista. Game on Instagram!

I love classics and sprinkling in things. i'm 54 now and wear classics and in my 20's and 30'swore classics. It's a sure way to be timeless. With a gentle, humble attitude no matter what our age, it goes a long way to being beautiful.
I like plaids, florals and the velvet to add to some of my classics. And my favorite color to wear is red regardless if it is on trend. But that is good that it is. Great video! I love your new background where you live now. I really respect you and your channel and have learned alot. I don't understand the defensiveness about the title and age but it's all in perspective I guess. Taking a step back and working as a GYN medical provider for 25 years I have seen women come to the office or work in all kinds of attire. Erin, to make you laugh my last patient of the day couple of years ago had a one piece swimsuit on sitting in the chair when I walked in to do a consultation in the office. No cover up either. LOL She thought she could wear anything and she really could do what she wanted but our bodies no matter how slim do change as we get older. Take care, Erin!

I would love to see the best options for layering. I missed out on the Trouve Layering Tshirt for Nordstrom Half Yearly and bought the Caslon. (so regretted) Caslon sleeves drooped and other places gapped. I thought immediately of you because I cannot find good soft layering T-shirts for a Tall person. Also Transitional outfits for fall. It is still so hot in some areas but I want to wear some fall pieces from the Nordstrom sale. Transitional Help Please!
